San Carlos, just one hour west of Panama City, is located by the area of Farallon, which in recent years has become a real hot spot for Panama real estate. The resort and park with marine animals means an investment of more than $300 million dollars for Panama over a period of seven to ten years, according to a press release from the company. According to the company's projections more than 400 Panamanians will work at the facility which will offer guests the opportunity to interact directly with marine animals. The Ocean Embassy resort will boast a hotel for tourists, marine-focused activities, lush accommodations, ocean-themed shopping, beach sports, and top-notch dining and spa facilities. Ocean Embassy has announced that, due to Panama's geographical position, they will be looking to attract visitors from Central and South America as the nearest marine animal facility is over 1,100 miles away, in addition to the ever-increasing number of visitors from North America and Europe.
One of the primary advantages of real estate in San Carlos is that there is a significant amount of infrastructure already in place.
